Youth Karate Training
West Karate's Pre-School and Youth Martial Arts Program builds a strong foundation in social and emotional learning using realistic martial arts instruction. You will see improvements in your child's attitude; their ability to engage and show empathy towards others; as well as an improvement in making responsible decisions. There is a built-in physicality with practicing martial arts, so your child will be encouraged to be active and exercise. This will improve your child's aerobic activity, muscle and bone strength, and their flexibility. But what makes our Martial Arts program unique is that we go beyond the physical skills as we incorporate Verbal Martial Arts into our curriculum. Unfortunately bullying is a huge problem and we teach kids how to deflect bullying by using tactical communication methods. These methods allow kids to communicate clearly, think critically and creatively, and solve problems effectively. West Karate takes pride in our Teen Martial Arts and Bullying Prevention classes. Our Program is intended to help these preteens prepare for their next step in life. We understand that this is a very important transitional period for your adolescent and we feel our approach to martial arts should mirror that. Youth and Adult Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
The practice of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu provides individuals a core skillset and mindset that will benefit them throughout nearly every aspect of their life. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu may be the toughest yet most-enjoyable form of physical fitness, increasing students' strength, flexibility, stamina, balance, and focus.
